What Techniques We Use
Massage therapy is the practice of applying manual structured or unstructured pressure, tension, motion or vibration to the soft tissues of the body to achieve a beneficial response. The soft tissues include muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, joints, lymphatic vessels, etc.
Massage can be applied to parts of the body or successively to the whole body, to aid the process of injury healing, relieve psychological stress, manage pain, and improve circulation.
What to consider when choosing your appointment length or type:
Subsequent Appointments: re-cap of progress (short) what you think needs attention, how many spots hurt, what worked or didn’t, how long since last appointment for same issue or simply you want lots of time?. We likely have chatted about one of these.
